For a more just, more resilient, and more united Haiti, by placing youth and vulnerable populations at the heart of its actions.

Who are we
Founded in 2004, Fondation Matana is a Haitian non-profit organization committed to human and community development.
Initially established in Port-au-Prince and later in Arcahaie, the Foundation is now extending its activities to the Great North, notably in Cap-Haïtien, Grand-Pré, and Terrier-Rouge.
Our approach is simple and integrated:
To train. To protect. To nourish. To care for. To support.
We believe that Haiti's sustainable development depends on investing in its youth, strengthening local skills, and creating concrete opportunities.
Mission
The goal of the Matana Mission is to work diligently towards the economic, social, and sustainable development of our common homeland through innovative businesses with broad national impact and tailored professional training, grounded in conciliation and conviviality.

Vision
The vision of the Fondation Matana is to weave together the love of God, the love of science, and the love of the country in an integrated approach that nourishes the spirit, stimulates creativity and forges a future of peace, ardent faith and deep knowledge, which are the foundation of a better world for all the daughters and sons of Haiti.
